Tea-Parties and Progressives, Maybe We Should Listen to Each Other

Post from thepeoplesvoice.org

By Timothy V. Gatto

I’m watching the Tea-Partiers, Glenn Beck and Alex Jones with interest, you see me and people like me are exactly the ones they profess to hate, Liberal Progressives. It makes me chuckle when I hear their complaints. Allow me to bring up some of their major complaints so we are all on the same page here.

One of their chief complaints accordi

Living Free In A Declining Society

Living Free In A Declining Society
From AmericanChronicle.com
By Ed Komarek January 24, 2008

I think most people recognize the fact that global civilization is on the decline even though they don´t understand the fundamental causes for that very well and what they can personally do to arrest the decline and possible collapse. Creativity, innovation and pursuit of liberty have in the past given rise not only to today´s mature civilization but have also sown the seeds for decline and even collaps… Continue

Still undable to use the shout out function. There is no option to add anything. I think you may be the only one with access to this. I wonder if that can be altered?

Dear Robert R.

I have received your e-mail asking me to revisit SFAN. Here I am.
When I joined SFAN I was invited by member H. Michael Sweeny and I really had no idea what SFAN was or what it does. Reading
your e-mail I think that what we, SFAN, need most is a serious
discussion of what we are dealing with. So here is my contribution.
This is not classical fascism, i.e., Mussolini/Hitler style fascism, that
we are confronting; it is neo-fascism. The most important difference is that it is covert and relies mostly on infiltrating and
subverting the state. I would argue that neo-fascism became a
state-reality with the successful coup against the John F. Kennedy
administration in 1963. The liberals, represented by Earl Warren,
joined hands with the neo-fascists to cover-up the truth behind
the assassination and, thus, hand the coupists their pyrrhic
victory.. Their goal, to militarily intervene in Vietnam , only brought them humiliation and defeat plus it opened up a revolution
against them. Despite their defeat the neo-fascists did not end
their scheming but continued their efforts to control the state.
Obviously Watergate, the Reagan administration, the Bush/Clinton/
Bush administrations, the stealing of the 2000 national election,
Sept. 11, 2001, the stealing of the 2004 election, etc., etc., etc.,
are all significant milestones in the continuing hold of the neo-
fascists upon the institutions of our country, but the important
thing to note, in my view, is that the neo-fascists are already in
power and the question is not how to stop them so much as how
to get them out of power. Hopefully this can help to start a dialogue within SFAN which will bring clarity and perspective.
