"You can't be neutral on a moving train." The political world we live in is a moving train, so everyone is moving with it; no one can be neutral. There are
those who will sit calmly and do nothing in order to pretend to be neutral, although they are in fact passively allowing a moving train - whether it be
capitalism or facism - to pass unimpeded. And there are those who will struggle against that movement, and who will fight it until it stops and moves the other
way."

If I've been missing from this network it's because I've been busier than ever before! My friends and I at ImpeachOk1 have staged many protests but none have kept me as busy as running for U.S. Congress! That's right. Less than a week before the filing date I, with encouragement from my friends decided I would run for
the U.S. Congress. I would run on a very limited budget
on a platform of keeping corporate money out of politics, getting out of Iraq, universal health-care and more. With lots of footwork from my friends and the networks set up ( ImpeachOk1, T-Town Democracy for America ) we almost beat a professional group that outspent us over 25/1! I had decided that from Congress I could make more happen than on Tulsa's street corners shouting and waving signs but we didn't quite make it. It was quite an experience. The vote tally was 56% to our 44%. Many have said I should try again and if the issues to be faced are nearly as bad and our representation still stinks I may do it!

I was so impressed with that "Missing, The America We Used To Know" message on one picture that I made some business cards of it. It takes both sides and I used a faded image of an American flag as a background. I like to use the Avery online tool at

Impeach Cheney Day was great. We had coverage from all the local media. ( One major paper, + local NBC, CBS, ABC and well FOX interviewed Judy and I but, as usual burned the footage ) We had our "Mock Impeachment Trial" and "The Tulsa Impeachment Committee" was mentioned on two sources. I'm going to design a t-shirt for the committee if not the event. As Cheney's motorcade pulled in we shouted "Impeach Cheney First", interspersed with calls of "Arrest Him". Lots of fun!

Whoever is elected President this year, there won't be any real change in a progressive direction without a mass social
movement to bring it about--either by holding the president accountable or by holding his or her feet to the fire. And a mass social movement doesn't begin at
the top. It begins right now, with
you.

Why did you join the Stop Fascism Action Network?

On a scale of 1-10 with 1 = to No Fascism and 10 = to Total Fascism how would you rate your country?

Tell us about yourself
I have been dedicated to getting Bush and Cheney impeached since I organized a demonstration against Cheney's appearance here in Tulsa on April 27 2007. That was one day ahead of the big April 28 day. Actually I was against them both since 2003 when I saw they actually intended to invade Iraq.
Would you like to Volunteer and help Stop Fascism? If yes, how would you like to help?
I already organize protests and run a web site and forum. I'm looking for more to do. Tell me how I can help!
